First Class All The Way
Hotel Cheval, small
16 room hotel, perfect location downtown within a short block of my
studio, brand new but feels like it has
been in Paso forever, decorated like an old horseman's lodge, includes breakfast
buffet, on the weekends it includes a carriage ride by Chester the horse.
If I was booking a room in Paso Robles, this is where I would want to stay!

La Bellasera, at
Highway 101 at 46 West, very new,
Swanky, and contemporary. There's also one of the best restaurants in town located in the hotel.

Artist's Vineyard Cottage Retreat,
on Highway 46 West, about 20 minutes West of my
studio, beautiful & extremely private, large cottage with 2 separate bedrooms,
overlooking a vineyard, Bali decor, complete with every amenity! It is
owned by an artist friend of mine who has impeccable taste. A great value,
especially for 2 couples. It's so wonderful, you may never want to leave
to explore the area or show up for my workshop!

For The Budget Conscious
Melody Ranch Motel,
great downtown location on Spring Street between 9th & 10th, 3 blocks from my
studio, rooms are very simple, many of my students have stayed here with no
complaints.
As of July 2009, their rates were $74 plus tax & they offer a AAA 10% discount.
